Valentine's Day

Someone got a new Movado watch for Valentine's Day. Suffice it to say that he got it out of me before the actual day but I made him wait for it. For some reason Limo Man has a real problem with surprises. HE CAN'T HANDLE THE SURPRISES!!! (And it irritates me to no end).
Naw, he's not too obsessed....
Oh well, if it keeps him off the street...I'm all for it!

La La La Las Vegas!!!!!

In late January Limo Man and I flew to Las Vegas so that he could attend the annual Limo convention at the Venetian. No trip to Las Vegas is complete without a trip to M&M world. My god....they have an entire wall with every color and type of M&M's. It was just more than my little heart (or wallet) could take....
Needless to say Limo Man always spoils me with a fabulous spa tub. This time we both used it! That should tell you how much walking we did...
We stayed at the MGM Grand and walked down to the new City Center complex. Wow is it gorgeous. Here is the Aria hotel.
The walkway into this building takes you into the shopping center at City Center.
Does anyone remember these???? This giant sculpture of an eraser was just too cool not to get a shot of.
This water wall was really cool too. At times it was completely dry and then the water came rushing over the wall then ebbed. Definitely worth seeing!
This fountain in the middle of City Center shot up different sprays of water and each spray was a different color. The illusions are amazing.
Ah, it was a great adventure!

Limo Man and the trip to Chico....

Limo Man went home to Chico in early December for a holiday celebration with the family. I stayed behind to study for an Economics final exam. Below are Limo Man's niece Emily and nephew Luke.
I'm not really sure what this is but I sure like it!
This adorable family is Limo Man's oldest nephew Tyler, his wife Marjean, and their son Border. Since this picture they have had another addition to the family, a daughter named Callie.

Catchin' Up...

In late November a neighbor of mine bought a condo and had a garage sale.
There is Sherry sitting with all of her treasures. This picture is from our balcony across the alley.
I am not kidding when I say her garage was completely full. And not all of it was outside of the garage yet!
It wasn't pretty but I helped her for 2 days get rid of most of this crap.

It's February Already!

I can't believe that it's been since Thanksgiving since I last blogged.
I hope everyone had a great holiday. I know I did.
I got sick and have just gotten over it.
Now that I'm not taking a class this semester I intend to be better about getting some things done. One of the biggest is to shed some of the weight that I have put on in the last couple of years.
The other is to do a little more traveling to see family and maybe see some other states.
