Usually the mourning doves lay 2 eggs. This time around so far there is only 1 egg and it's a pretty big egg. Hmmmmm...I wonder if it's twins?I did some further research and found that sometimes it can take anywhere between 1 day and 1 week for the female to lay a second egg. I guess we'll just have to wait to see what happens. This picture was taken at about 8:30pm.
